The real “Batman” from Birmingham Al

Discussion in 'Off Topic Hot Rods & Customs' started by anthony myrick, Aug 11, 2025 at 3:23 PM.

  1. Willie Perry cruised the “rescue ship” helping motorists in need.

his custom ride was on display at the fair grounds in Birmingham. I remember staring at it and all its coolness in my much younger days.
I guess this is the main reason I have no problem cruising whatever.

yea. I’d drive it. With a big ole grin. Just like Willie did.

It’s a shame that we can’t have people like this in today’s society, around here he would be jacked and killed within minutes :oops::oops:

  4. That thing sure makes a statement. With cell phones and roadside assistance from most insurance companies, not to mention increased dependability of modern vehicles, I guess Willie’s time came and went.

Are the tops of the fenders C2 Vette fenders? And the rear quarter tops C3?

  7. I don’t think so.
I’m betting it’s just fiber glass modifications
