Featured Event Coverage Hot August Nights, Reno, NV 8/7/2025 Pics!

It has been a while since I have been there, but it was one of the best weeks I have ever had! 2018 a customer of mine was invited to compete in the Hot August Nights Invitational inside the convention center. (can't post pictures, because car is OT). That year the 2 million dollar "Renaissance Roadster" won & Kindig's Maybelline came in 2nd

Once I dropped off & helped set up inside the C.C., I was able to park my truck & trailer in a fenced lot that had a security guard 24/7. This gave me the piece of mind to enjoy the week without worrying some scumbag was going to steal it.

Each day after checking on the customers car inside the C.C., I would take a cab to a different Casino/Hotel & spend the day at each of those shows, then back into downtown for the parties/concerts/other get togethers in the evening. I have to say that of all of the shows...SEMA, Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, etc that I have taken cars to....I had the most fun here!

Thanks for the tour. I haven't been up there in quite awhile. Always rode the Harley up there and stayed over in Sparks by Victorian Square. Made it so much easier going to the different casinos for the different car shows.

 

^^ as you know, many people do not go into Reno. They stay in Sparks and neighboring towns for special events
