No just a fun car for now I’ll be lucky to get 300 hp if I add a cam, maybe 250 now. Down the road I’ll go 360 maybe stroked with roller cam, then I’ll for sure need a good exhaust to get 400- 450 hp. I plan on making Tri y s
I think the 4 into1 on passenger side will fit no problem. Can a guy run a slightly restricted exhaust on one side or will this cause me problems?

  4. Papaw has a log manifold on the drivers side from a 76 C-10, and a Rams Horn on the passenger side from a 72 C-10. Both with 2” outlets.

Man, that car looks perfect as-is. I would have to just get it going and drive it. I can't imagine a frame off making it any more fun. :D

Got the trunk in primer, think this will be good enough for me. I will be spraying with some zolatone at a later date.

Back from Deuce Days and decided to tackle my nit list on the Tudor.
First up was the front floor.
Was lazy when I did it, so didn’t put a surround in place around the shifter hole.
    Now it’s done.
Also had some water sneak in from the front where floor meets firewall.
Probably easier ways to solve, but I decided to weld some bigger splash guards on and do a better fit (for sealing) on the front corners.
Now it’s off to get a layer of rhino liner like I did on the roadster floor.

I'm working on a Mickey's Big Mouth "Fine Malt Liquor". I'm thinking about working on my 49 Chevy, we'll see how well that thinking progresses.... been thinking I'm gonna have to sell it. I've owned it for 49 years.

@Sharpone - Anything you do with your header experiment has got to be better than manifolds. Just my opinion, thinking about how manifolds were mostly designed to fit a space. The ones in your pics have the exhaust pulse at it's highest velocity hitting a hard wall right out of the port. Then totally unequal distances to the converging point. Your headers have a gradual sweeping turn, then a long tube. Hell, you can even start some bench racing folklore about tri Y / 4 into 1 header mixing..

I certainly hope you don’t have to sell your ‘49, especially after having owned it for that long.

And today I picked up another set of fenderwell headers to try on the 57 pickup, if they do fit I'll have to figure out a collector for them.

  22. Headers don't fit, this time around the passenger side doesn't clear !
I'm going to have to pick the lesser of the evils and start modifying one of the 3 sets.
