Features 41-48 Ford and Merc Picture Thread!

Discussion in 'Traditional Customs' started by nitrobrother, May 1, 2013.

  1. That's one of my pet peeves, using a stick to hold the hood up, especially on a car that has hood springs from the factory, and still has hood springs. Is there so much filler in the hood that it's to heavy for the springs? Henry made it stay up. At least make a hood rod to hold the hood up like late model cars. Ok, bitching is over. For now anyway.

. Springs get tired over time . I’ve learned that Ford car springs will not work on the same year of Mercury. The longer Merc hood is heavier than the Ford . So I use a stick

I took a fender trim spear and gently modified it for a hood ornament. Has a bull nose look to it
