I think the Mercy Coupe should be in the running.

This is the one Duece that rocked my world and introduced me to street rodding. It didn’t help that the NSRA was Memphis based and I always ran around with the street rod crowd at the shows when I was a preteen.
Honestly I don’t really know of an ugly ‘32 even one sitting in a junk yard missing half its parts is gorgeous to me. What can I say I have a disease and don’t want to be cured:cool::cool:

^^^^There's likely a 32 in there in there somewhere. My guess is second in form the left.

There are hundreds of 32’s that are in the running. But when I was 14 years old this ‘32 just blew my mind & it’s still always in my head, we didn’t have a lot to choose from in Sydney Australia in 1966. IMG_3932.jpeg

Interesting and wild. The frame horns are chrome or chrome capped all the way to the cowl it seems? I see what appears to be the frame rails under the body and they are painted. I love chrome, and there is a lot to love on this one. strange door hinges, windshield frame, section job. Crazy!

@Bandit Billy The door hinges are Morris Mini & the strange windscreen is because it started life as a Sports Coupe . It also had chrome covers from the cowl forward.

I made them large on his post, then I saved it to my computer so I could crop the cellphone page off from it and show just the car

When I was a kid I had both the L'il Coffin and Orange Crate models. I don't know if I could choose one over the other. :)

When it comes to declaring the 'best' so much of that is just personal opinion. There's no one single answer. You need to divide it up by body style, and if it's a hot rod or a custom. Personally I like the Doane Spencer roadster and the Doyle Gammell 3 window coupe, but those are just two of the possibilities.

I'm more drag race oriented so Harry Luzaders' coupe is always at the forefront for me.
