WOW. That is almost as ugly as "that car from florida with the back cut off" that caused so much drama here a few years back. I kinda like it. but the side shot makes it look like crap
Nice try dude but that No-Back car from Fl-horid-a still has you guys in the dog-house... This isn't that ugly, and it's nice to see they built a car that actually SHOULD have those canvas fender things on it...
I'm the first to admit that those guys build some stuff that is... uhhh.... welll... out there... BUT, I love the fact that they do push the envelope and you can't argue with the level of craftsmanship.
just seems like its sorta a cross between a vdub and a nash.....the thing that i'm not into ....the grille shell.....just doesn't quite look like its made for the car....brandon
Needs a '37 Chevy style grille instead, the flow would be much better, then give it a Bugatti style paint job.
that thing fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. i kinna like it...in a taste of vomit in the back of your throat kind of way
The deuce grille looks like shit in an otherwise rounded, flowing shape. To see something so square and so thoughtless seems WAY out of place. Frankly I don't like it but I also don't hate it yet. I'll pass judgement when I see it. I can think of better ideas for the wheels too.
That was the first thought that came to mind when I saw the rear shot. It reminded me of a "Talbot", or "Zagato" from the French coachbuilder days. I am not sure if I like the car as a whole, but there is some good work in there.
I think it needs fenders and some sort of stylized front... I lik it. If I were to build something like it (and I've actually thought a lot about trying to cobble together a version of the early European "Aero-Coupes"), I'd mold in some rear fenders and build some pontoon fenders in the front... I think from there, I'd cut down a 35 Dodge grill and make that flow back and out-around and under the front.
99% of the us would have filled the cowl vent after the car was narrowed (it's got A/C) I love to study his cars. There is always so much to discover.
being a 46-48 chevy fan, this car just does not appeal to me. I have seen other cars they have built that I liked very much, but sad to say this one is not on that list.
It's kinda cool- but somehow it reminds me of when you turn 14 and you don't want to listen to the same music as your dad and he DEFINITELY doesn't understand the music you listened to. In that weird way it'd be like 1983 and dad wants to dress like Motley Crue or Duran Duran to be your buddy- you know it would be off in the same way I dont get the REALLY nice black prime, a WAYYY over the top engine and a '32 ford shell connected to a '47 Chevy body that's been shrunk in every direction. A ton of work- but street rods and RAT RODZ cannot be cross-bred!
I actually like the car. I have to agree though on the grill, just does not look quite right at the moment. It isn't done yet so who knows how it will end up. Or is it done? I havn't checked the links above. Off the subject..when looking for info on this car I ran across the Dynamat Coupe. I'm sure some of you have seen it. It was put togther by Speed Kings called the Salt Flat Surprise. Evidently Brookville did the body donation. Just thought it might kick some reaction with its Fauxtina. I really like the wheel covers. This is a PDF page so dont panic. HERE BR
