Hot Rods Air Filter part Number?

I have one of these Speedway air filters looking for a Wix or equal, element, having problems trying to locate one, anyone have any luck with this ? Thanks in advance.

 

I use a Napa 2099. That is a round filter, I carefully bend it into an oval. Works for me

 

Have the dimensions?
Length - id and od
Width - id and od
Height

There is the wix catalog, can flip through that if you like. I just skimmed through the oval filters a few pages in and didn't see anything. But find a number you like and put it into the wix filter finder.

It seems like your best bet though is like @RMR&C recommended. Any reason for not getting the speedway replacement?

Edit: Just a addition might look in the K&N Catalog as well.

I didn't find anything in stock form as it's an odd size. There is oval filters out there in regular brands but they are either a smaller or bigger oval. I think @RMR&C has the right idea if you want off the shelf.

These are the closest, but not exact:

I've got a couple of similar air cleaners that I got off Ebay way too long ago but don't know if the filters have numbers on them.

 

Thanks Dan, I looked at Wix and Napa with the dimensions and no luck.

 

I wanted a better quality, this one is restrictive...

This thread is perfectly timed for me as I need a new element for the same housing and wax only thinking about it a couple of days ago!

I can't understand the sizing references on that Wix ( OReileys) link though.

I'd be most grateful for a part number when anyone knows it. In the meantime I'll measure up and hopefully it might become clearer!

Ask Speedway for the K&N filter number? If nothing else get a filter number from them to cross reference. It's their filter. Seems easy.
