That Elkie rather spins my wheels. I bought one with a 235 and 3 speed on March 24, 1970 the day my first born was born and think the test drive the day before is what started my wife going into labor. We had a lot of fun in that truck over the couple of years we had it.

  4. I would have been flipping out over the El Camino. How much was it?

    There was a kit for a 57 IMG_9419.jpeg
I took some junk, no sale but I got rid of some hubcaps.
A kid, probably 6-7 drug his grandmother to look through the parts and look at the bus. While he was digging through the junk, the grandmother said he loves old parts and wants a bus.
A few minutes later he drug his mom and little sister back to the bus. The mom said he loves junk. My kinda kid. He liked a set of Sudebaker dog dish hubcaps I had. So I told him a handshake and he can have em. IMG_9453.jpeg
He told me about the Terraplane hub caps he had.
Kid sounded a lot like a younger me. Poor little fella :)

The big 300 is nice, looks like it’s got a trunk mounted AC unit too.

Is that what the little scoops mounted on the top of the quarters are for?
