Here is a great package deal buyer gets the Lot this factory original GM SPH small block chevrolet engine balancers/damper can be very hard to find they were only installed on the special high performance SBC engines
L79 Z28 ect 8" by just under 2" thick
A must for any period day 2 look
Balancer is a assembly line item
Dated G6 July 1966 and has the Long bars ribs that go all the way to the outer ring Part # is 3817173
NCRS correct for late '66-69 model year built cars timing mark location change occured in 69 but this balancer design remained the same.
Comes with a few extras that are also vintage pre '71 items
A timing cover for the 8" damper with WELDED ON timing tab +8 to -16
With IMHO the best design tab with O peep sight. Cover is super straight no bend dents damage or issues
A third bonus item i am adding because these were things i had put aside for a spare 327 build
a USA made dated 6-71 nos new old stock double roller timing chain with bolts locking tab block washer/spacer
All complete cam gear crank gear chain ect. Has plus minus or straight up crank gear option the chain links are stamped USA
The timing cover is a heavy duty version not like the tinny junk sold these days. It does not need double stacked gasket to clear the double roller timing chain
