Hi guys. I just worked out a deal on the sedan delivery. Screenshot_20240523_182254_Facebook.jpg I'm wondering what year parts will fit. Is there parts that will be hard to find? I have a 47 thru 52 pickup chassis already built. Would it be a real pain to make this fit on that? Thanks for any help and advice. Screenshot_20240523_182304_Facebook.jpg

Pretty sure it fits a car chassis. How big is your hammer?

Yes…what’s wrong with its Chassis or are you looking to make a gasser out of it?
C1 Corvettes had the same front suspension and I believe 49-54 car frame were pretty much the same. If the rails are not rusted out there are a lot of aftermarket chassis kits to improve them from stock. There rear parallel leaf can take a lot of different newer rear axles…there is a lot of potential in a sedan delivery…good luck.

Sedan delivery is CAR not truck. Specs are here https://www.gm.com/content/dam/comp...information-kits/chevrolet/1952-Chevrolet.pdf

stock chassis wise, mostly 51/53. Body wise it may be closer to 49 and 50 in some respects than 51/52. I'm no up on if grills will bolt on year models that they didn't come on as far as 49/52 go.

About the only thing truck about it is that it can be licensed as a truck when used comercially and hauling goods on a daily basis. Extra cost if it is already licensed as a car. That probably depends on how it was originally titled though.

I don't know the exact shape of the chassis under it now. I just have a super nice truck one all ready to go is the only reason for wondering.

rear fenders are 49/50, only those year skirts fit. doors are the same as 4-dr frts but rounded at upper rear corner. rear glass is hard to find. frt glass is same as sedan, or fit a 1 piece 50 olds to it. DO NOT lose that rear side trim.

The man told me this is a 52. Are you saying the rear fenders are 49 or 50? So do you think the car is a 49 or 50?

Nice find/project. The rear wheel opening differ and the skirts need to match the years, think 53-54 differ from the older ones.

Those use the earlier body shells, so even though it's titled (you say) as a '52 the rear quarters are '49-'50.

That is a ‘52. The body is the same ‘49 - 52, hood, doors as well. Dash ‘51-52 is the same. Truck frame is not even similar.
