Do hand lettered panels used for garage art really bring that kind of money? I had no idea

  4. Well it ought to, dammit! :p Somewhere there must be a Cracker Barrel Restaurant that would give you at least $2300 just for all the tin . . . ;)

My wife does hand lettering, but has always worked with wood. Maybe I should be bringing her home some old body panels from the swap meet...

  6. If she's using real lettering quills and sign painting enamels, you should get her an old car or truck door or deck lid to practice on. Something still fairly straight with some paint still on it. Hand painted signs have had a bit of a resurgence in the last few years. It's hard to beat the look on a vintage vehicle when it's done right.

Well, now. That's an interesting axle, not to mention car. Would like to see more detailed pix, but I'm not on faceplant. If someone would post them, I'd be grateful. :) ,
    TIA.

They’ve compensated with some aerodynamic holes in the rockers. ;)

That 30s race car is now listed as "Out of Stock", kind of a strange way to say it has been sold or is no longer available?
At $6500, its not what I would consider "inexpensive".

thats an interesting way to keep the tranny from dragging on the ground:rolleyes:,And the Barracuda is a real steal, here in Canada that would be considered mint sheetmetal.
