Just noticed the RH drive !

 

Harv, Ken had to remove the tail to haul it.

 

I'm running a Stroud spring launcher on the chute, though it doesn't poke out as far as Ken's bodywork. My drawbar is long enough that I'll likely get away with leaving the launcher in place when towing.

Another great Aussie pic. Late 60's I would say, with possibly an GT Falcon (round tail lights), a speedway super modified, vintage go karts and a great little roadster.

 

I like that wheel!!! Anyone recognize the car circled? Has a bit of a King Cobra look to it?

Back in the 60's around here, the cops would not allow foul language written on cars, so some of the guys would write "Ape Shift" or "Chicken Shift", just to get the cops attention !

 

The first engine swap I did was in 1962. Two of us "Stockers" car club members installed a SBC in Bill Hardy's 1934 ford 5 window coupe. We didn't have a chain fall, so we just used a chain wrapped around two, 2 x 4"s and used muscle to do the deed. We were both in our early 20's, and didn't know any better. but we got it done.
