Just found a posting on the Rolling Bones FB page that Ken has passed on. One hell of a car builder and Road Warrior. Godspeed.

  5. Ken was a real hot rodder and inspired many of us, the video just seems appropriate. HRP

My favorite hot rod video is the section between 2:46 and about 3:04!

God be with Ken's family and friends who mourn his passing.

  12. Sad day. My son sent me the news this morning. Just met Ken last year at Bonneville and he couldn’t have been nicer to my 18 year old son letting him sit in the cars, signing his shirt, etc. Praying for his family and friends.

Pic from my son sitting in one of the cars.

The traditional hot rodding community has lost a great torch bearer, inspiration and very humble guy. I remember that he seemed genuinely surprised that I asked him to autograph my Rolling Bones cap. I had the good fortune and honor to meet and talk with Ken at TROG 2015 and at the Bowling Green Hot Rod Reunion. He didn't know me from Adam but he made me feel like we were old friends. I asked him to pose for this photo at TROG. 2015 TROG (73).jpg

  15. First time I saw my Coupe, I tried to buy it from my friend Conrad, Mrbomba. Think that was 2011. Tried to buy it for years. Finally, I bought it and when I took it out for a drive I ran into these guys that kept telling me, " That looks like a Rolling Bones car". I didn't know what that meant til I got on the web and looked it up. That's where a found Ken and the Bones guys. Can't tell you how many times I've watched that video and 3 Mile. Sad to hear he has passed. He had a style and design he liked and wouldn't sway from his principles. RIP Ken.

    Godspeed Ken.

I first saw his Rolling Bones cars at the Road Agents show in Connecticut back in 02?
We hung out and chatted in the staging lanes at Bonneville in 2009. He was a down to earth guy and super approachable.

A very sad day indeed. Sounded like he was privately battling his health for quite some time. RIP Ken.
