Hot Rods Help ID this old Bonneville Coupe

Picked up this old Bonneville Coupe from a very good friend of mine a little while ago. Can anyone help identify it? Where it came from or any old photos of it?
I will post current photos of it soon but these are the oldest known photos, probably from the 1970s in California.

 

Yeah...if I recall correctly, that was Rick's car...or he was the driver? Something like that anyway.

I assume these photos are from when it was first built? Did it ever make it out to Bonneville?
