Thank you for the photos Marty. I was sad I missed this one. I got my wires crossed on dates and was out of town.

This show is always top-notch and you almost always see cars there that are seldom seen otherwise. I won't make the same mistake next year.

I missed it also, but maybe I'm not on their invite list?

That Jaguar belongs to Marsh Burns. He owns Twin lake Jags, builds some very nice street rods. Not sure what the engine in the Jag is.

Since the event only runs from 7:00AM until noon, you will notice, no lawn chairs.

This is a sweet modified roadster. Was there ever a build thread or other information? 98762A74-7EF7-45FA-9968-94E94EBB4209.jpeg

I don't think so, Gary goes about his work quietly, with absolute precision.

  18. Thanks for the photos Marty, it looks like it was a great get together at Mikes place. I sure would like to see the Harry Bradley designed Maserati powered roadster he built for Bruce Russell surface some day! That Jag has a V12 running webers, I always thought that was a cool car. First time I saw it was at the Hot Rod Happen'in in Seaside when Tim Holt ran it, so it has been around a while.

Thanks for sending these pictures. It is a very cool ride. I really like the look of the Lake Modified Roadsters. You don’t see a lot of them especially ones this well done.

  21. Boy what a crowd. Makes us all a little envious. We're still get together soon. Work (trimming) and my '29 sedan takes up a lot of my time.
Anyway thanks for the great pics.

Wow! What a turnout of eclectic rides. I actually love runs that have stuff along HAMB lines and a smattering of non HAMB friendly stuff that is creative and well done. Big Jag fan including the ones with Chevy power.

Great pics from a great showing.
