Hot Rods HAMB Celebrity Sighting J.Ukrop on the streets of San Francisco

We are on day 3 of a 6 day up and down the coast of California road trip. Driving through San Francisco I hear what can only be a banger, or a late model Ford truck that shot out a spark plug. I look over 2 lanes, and there is the HAMBs own @J.Ukrop doing his thing. Friday afternoon San Francisco traffic, on very hilly streets, and looks to be having a blast.

Very correct A roadster. However that is not the ride he has been working on.

 

actually, technically, it is. He’s building a new chassis for it.

and to think not that long ago he was nervous of it letting him down if he took the old gal beyond the end of the driveway
He has now learned that a banger is like an old horse....it runs better on the return trip home
