Nothing yet. Auction just started and so far everything on the hay racks is going for market value or above. My bottom feeder budget will wait for the real bargains.
Hey @partsdawg I'd love to hear about how this went, if you were able to buy anything, and what prices were like. Looks like some really good stuff there.
I picked up a '32 Plymouth grill and a pair of '51 Mercury fender skirts. A buddy bought all the '34 Ford front fenders.
If you see any good parts going for bargain prices, buy them for me please... I know you'll keep them anyway but it's fun to shop vicariously thru others! Aw rats.. still I'm a day late
1960 Studebaker Lark $100 1929 Ford Model A 2 dr Sedan $2500 1953 Ford 2 dr sedan $125 1936 Ford phone company truck $1400 1953 Ford convertible $400 Studebaker 1T $300 Ford Model AA chassis and running gear $325 Studebaker 3/4T Transtar pickup $425 Studebaker Champ pickup $250 None of the vehicles had titles and were sold as parts only
Prices were definitely reasonable! Pretty sure I would have drug something home I didn’t need if I was there.
If the front of the '53 Ford sedan looked as nice as the rear someone stole it for $125......WOW!!!! I'd be bringing it home if I had been there.
Thanks for the info. You can read the name of the auction house in the first picture. They had more pictures on their site.
It makes me smile to see that there is so much interests in the old Bell Telephone service trucks. That was a good price on the truck that was sold at that auction. I owned a very cool 56 International S-110 retired Bell Telephone service truck that I wished I had never sold, but back then I had no idea of how sought after these would be in the future. This yellow one was mine. This black one is a picture from the internet, I keep looking online for one of these that is for sale, but its hard to find one like the cool old cornbinder I had.
