The heads, two piece intake and cam that were part of the ‘63 Impala Z-11 were released in August of ‘62 and were run on ‘62 409 Chevrolets at the Labor Day Nationals. True, they were not RPO Z-11 cars but they did have Service Package engine parts only given to a chosen few along with aluminum front clip components.

Come to think of it, the '39 Ford brake and clutch pedal assembly is a one hit wonder.

If you're referring to the Hyper-pak, I don't have one of those. My budget won't allow it. I'll just have to stick with a mundane single four, or the Offy twin-one barrel intake.

Front torsion bars and lower control arms for a 1962 chevy C-10 pick up.
If I remember right, the 1958 thru 1961 apaches were leaf springs. The 1963 and later C-10s were four wheel coil springs.

60 and 61 were torsion bar also, can't say for sure if the parts you need interchange though without looking them up.

Didn't some of the GMC pickups from early/mid 60's come with rear leaf springs?

    I don't know.
I thought they all had the X-frame with trailing arms?
Although GMC was the fleet service trucks for Chevrolet so maybe some were made that way?

  15. Stovebolt, I'm not up to speed on Packard transmissions, but know of at least four over-rotten sedans wasting away in a yard not to far from me... does it matter if they are for 6 cylinder engines?

Most of the gmc's had leaf springs those years. Gmc's were mor fleet, bare bones. The trailing arms on the chevy's were really easy to set up for drag racing, etc. When set up right no wheel hop etc.
