I loved hearing those non-turbo diesel tractors.

 

Once out between Barstow and Needles (past Radiator Springs) my grandson asked his mom if they were in the middle of nowhere?
If you've never been out there you have no idea why he asked that.

I can only imagine in the times this picture was taken that a guy dressed like that with a tattoo would be living on the fringe of society.

This photo of a 1947 Chevrolet Panel Delivery in the midst of the marriage-line process was taken in December, 1947 at GM’s plant in LA.

 

The car is OK but it's blocking the view of the house.
