I’m thinking the piece in the upper right hand corner is a name badge off a refrigerator or a stove .

Not automotive related but definitely an interesting piece I plan on using for some of my smalls and assorted hardware. I believe the previous owner of the house it came out of was an employee for a local hardware store.

  7. Great looking old hardware case. Hope you don't go to too much trouble trying to clean or restore it. It's beautifully worn just the way it is.

I saw the name J.A. Sexauer Mfg. on the drawers and it reminded me of an old joke.

There was a salesman who had an appointment with a Mr. Sexauer, but wasn't sure he was at the correct office address. He walked into the lobby and approached the secretary at the reception desk. He asked her, "Excuse me, but do you have a Sexauer here?" The secretary curtly replied, "No, I'm sorry. We only get a regular ten minute coffee break."

LoL, can't blame the salesman for trying!!

Thanks, I plan on keeping it just as she is minus sanding the sides of the draws down a bit so they slide in/out easier.

I got volunteered to help move my grandparents from their condo to a retirement village. Grandpa was a handy man for most of the time I new him so he had some tools laying around so I snagged this beastly little drill press.

Saw an ad for an old trailer not too far so figured I'd take a ride out. Model T bed and as a bonus it had a 32 axle connected under it.

  18. I just realized that the young girl on the right side of your Glass-Wax picture looks like she's holding a tall, frosty glass of Schlitz or Blatz. And she apparently likes a good head of foam on her beer.

It’s a Snapon 600 ft/lbs torque wrench. His shop was called Rebel’s Truck Service . He was born in Alabama and moved to Ponca City , Okla . His name was Dewey but everyone called him Rebel . I pulled it off the shelf Monday and used it to tighten up a pinion yoke on a tractor

  25. I picked this up this week from a local on line auction. It is rubber, appears to be original paint, all wheels intact, I like them as found. 30D30F40-8851-480A-99A3-ADE6681670AF.jpeg

Fun at Christmas for our family in the 50’s. Best glass cleaner/polish ever. I think I found a replacement and been using it. Works, applies, and looks just like Glass Wax. F30EE9E9-2630-4633-BE6D-EE5EEC80F031.jpeg
