    Update #5 – 8/1/22:
Everything is taking shape! Course #1 is all dressed up & ready to go! Mile markers are in, Return Road flags are up. It's looking great! Dragging on Course #2 is done so tomorrow it gets all dressed up too! Turnouts on both courses will be ready in the morning ( every 1/4 mi). Pits are just about finished, all trailers come out tomorrow. Wednesday morning we'll be putting the Blue Line in. Just about ready for business! Can't wait to see you!

  7. I'm headed out in the morning. Will be camping near the bend......rain showers/thunderstorms forecast for Friday, we'll see what happens, but I will be away from the mud flats just in case.
If you see my yellow coupe<<< stop by or flag me down. Always great to meet HAMBers.
    See you on the salt!

Locked and loaded , leaving in the morning probably stop in LaGrande Oregon and get to Wendover midday Friday.
The Vanguard camper in my avatar is where we'll be staying....I'll try not to get stuck in the mud.

Why do you guys stay in the mud flats when you can stay at the "ballpark" for free and not get stuck -- plus have free porta-potties?

Just a couple 100 feet past the Auto Parts store going out of on the other side of the road. It's got a street going thru it and curbs and gutters and is hard-packed dirt and gravel.

  17. Not anymore. BLM put the kibosh on that several years ago. Lets just say they have become a little heavy handed. We helped some 10-12 year old out of a pickle when the Rangers were after the "criminals" shooting off bottle rockets

  18. Are you talking the proposed museum site? We did our HAMBbq and Save the Salt Raffle there a few years back

  19. There were people there last year, no clue as to the state of it now. Just wish I was there period.......

    . . . quiet, unstuckable, calm, can walk to town . . .

Seems like everything the Bend in the Road Gang hate.

  23. The Bend has been quite quiet for the last few years, BLM made sure of that
