cars4.jpg 001.jpg trusty y-block. Sometimes to much chrome doesn't help. Just some small items. Less is more.

Love the y-block. Way more cool than a sbc or sbf

  14. Biggest thing we wanted was to have as few wires showing to have you just focus on the motor. Had had people think it doesn't run due to lack of wiring all over the place.

I used ARP 12 point stainless fasteners on the bolt on components for uniformity.
Liberal use of chrome and polished aluminum.
    Careful routing of ignition wires.
    Hidden electrical wiring wherever possible.

Beautiful job. On any wires that can't be hidden I run though various size tubing( 3/16" to 3/8") and they look good either plain or painted. Just have to remember to run the wires through the tubing before bending. The 502 is in my Chevy II and the second pic is my Deuce Rdstr, leaving no wires on top of the engine with the low alternator mount. 335310882_184397251000532_6140727685333938006_n.jpg Wiring 1.jpg

    Lots of spectacularly detailed engines!
One of my dislikes is painted bolts. Such as when the engine is assembled, then painted as a unit. When I see 'em paint assembled engines, even with transmissions attached on some of these builder shows....dang.
Kinda brings to mind Vice Grip Garage's comments on "Craigslist rebuild."
But the big block pictured a couple post earlier.....perfection!
