Recently purchased a 1937 Plymouth 2 dr. sedan slantback. I get conflicting info on what the body style is. body # 911-10992 Door windows have 1 large glass, no wind wings. is it a P3 or P4? Also VIN# is 7 digits, it was made in Mich. not Canada. How many are on the road today? i'm told it is a rare body style. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In 1937-1938 the Plymouths with the one pc. window glass and no vent windows were called the business line (the cheaper line) In 1938, Plymouth started calling them the Roadking models. I have a 38 Plymouth P5 4 dr sedan. I like the fact that it doesn't have the vent windows-less cracks to leak and better if you are going to install AC. Give us some pictures!
