Try lubing the wires with WD40 or maybe dish soap. Should make them easier to pull, but any sharp edges could still cut them.

 

I agree with this ^^^, especially the bit I have highlighted red.
Do a search on "Ribbon cable wiring". If you are running carpet this will be the answer.

 

I’ve pulled a lot of wire in the past and it sure felt as I was pulling over a sharp edge or screw. The pull string was a little fuzzy too

 

I got some of my extra wire at Advance Auto Parts and it worked out well, good quality stuff. I also bought some in bulk from The Wiring Depot.

Wiring clamps don't need to be complicated, thin stainless or aluminum can be bent to shape to fill your needs.

Speedway Motors sells a good wiring harness in 2 or 3 sizes for around $130 +- .

 

That gave me an idea, make a simple die and receiver for my little HB press. This is why you guys are awesome

I think I probably had it figured out, but you guys offered some great advice. It’s all about the details, and there are some awesome ones offered up here.

 

Inside the car. Don't run them in a tube they can rub together and short out.
