I bought this headlight bar recently with a bunch of other parts(mostly Model A). However, the other Model A bars I remember seeing were all just a solid rod. The one is U-shaped metal in the center with slots to mount the license plate. I have had a couple old GM headlight bars with a similar center portion, but the ends were not even similar to this one.
    Any ideas?

We have reports of an unidentified part. Possibly Mopar in nature.

    Please advise.

    Do you copy?!?

Could be. I’ve seen one on a 30 with the license
    slots.

I wondered about this ^. I looked at a bunch online and none of them were like the one I've got. I suppose vintage aftermarket would make it quite a lot less common.

Just thought I'd give an update. Apparently these were used by Ford briefly(less than a year) during model A production.

Yep. Used for a short time. There's one for sale in the parts for sale section.
