Was Bryner the dealer that hosted the long running Corvette show called "Run For The Ribbons"?

I can’t exactly pinpoint what it is but this one really looks great to me. There is something special about it.

The shows at Bryner I went to there were called Cavalcade of Corvettes in the early '70's, in Jenkintown near Philly.

Squeezing fenderwell headers into an early Corvette chassis would require a lot of effort for minimal gains. Haven't seen that done too often.

It looks great though, even with minimal HP gain, you can’t beat the stance/look on that one. 41E3188D-96E9-49FF-9D6B-D51FEE754ADA.jpeg

  11. What a good son you are! Be sure to see her regularly.
My 95 year old mother loved my red '62 Corvette. After I sold it, she kept saying that she wished I hadn't sold it.

I call her every day and see her about 3 times a week... she thinks my corvette is "cute"

  13. Like I said, what a good son you are! My mother and I lived in different states, so I wasn't able to visit her as much as I would have liked. I probably didn't call her as much as I should have, also. Man, do I regret that now.
I think that "cute" in mother lingo equates to "awesome" in hot rod lingo, and your Corvette is definitely that!

Enloe, it's a funny thing but while I've had my fill of early 'vettes turned
into black drag cars with straight axles, I get a kick out of seeing the mid-year's
as customs (as long as someone's done it to a used and abused Corvette and
not a righteous stocker). Good find, good pic.

Now that you mentioned it I haven’t seen any post’s from Baron in a long time. Anyone know him personally? Or know if he is ok?

I downloaded these pictures from this discussion a couple years apart and just realized they are the same car, or are they? Same headlight treatment, different hood, grill, fender sides, injectors?

Baron sold the Vette so he may not visit this thread as he once did. He bought a Willys coupe that will be his next build.

  29. Fender cuts and the headlights are different, sure the same car?
