Strangest thing the needle got drug across the record. Then the music just stopped.

 

This one is a timeless classic. It looks exactly like the Trifives from my area back in the 60's.
"Mags" (many brands and styles) on the front, steelies on the back because not enough coins saved up to get 4 "Mags" tach on the dash and no front bumper.

Great pictures. Never found out an attendance number, but appeared to be a nice amount of cars. Weather really cooperated!

 

I heard there was around 3,000 cars registered.

 

....I think that's a pretty good turnout considering the state of the world today, meaning the dwindling demographics, cost of fuel, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember the number 5,800 back in the "heyday" years. NSRA was known to inflate those numbers a bit if I recall....I didn't see as many New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, etc. cars as in the past. I would imagine fuel and hotel costs likely impacted their decisions to attend or not. As mentioned by @mcsfabrication, the weather Gods smiled on us for certain.

 

Here are more pictures. Weather made for a perfect event. The highest windshield sticker number I saw was in the 2,400s.

 

I made it and since I had cataract surgery 2 weeks ago, I could actually see what color I really painted my car.

I had trouble with my camera and only took a few pictures.....actually the problem was with the camera operator.

I only went on Friday. Great weather. Been there many years, only hour away. Gee, York traffic sucks. Kind of disappointed in tons late models/muscle cars ( rules now accept 30 year old cars = 1992 ). Probably skip it next year.

Thanks, I did not make it up this year but spotted a pic of my ole 55 Chevy Gasser Indy pace car . Glad he had it there on display.

 

I did not post photos of my own car because you guys had it covered. However, a friend (Woody Gingrich) sent these to me, but I learned that it is not my car. According to the announcer at the awards, this car belongs to some guy named Al Pelosi from a non-existent town in PA.

I attended Saturday afternoon. I did Sat and Sun last year...think there was maybe a little more diversity then.....but still a good show. Weather was perfect.

 

the dude with the 36 has great eye for colour. Crappy picture of our 37 , you would think after 37 years of ownership I could find something better. It is much closer to the 36 than this picture.
