Closest thing I have to a shot from the inside out. My house, rain on the window and Woody, head of shop security; a real standup guy. DSC07245.JPG DSC07083.JPG

I feel you on that! Luckily, for a month or two this obstructs the view. They're good folks, they just stopped caring about their house 6 or 7 years ago.

The shop opens up into the driveway, which is pretty private, thankfully. But, if I take a few steps back into the yard, I get to see these beauties. We often take them for granted but they are quite the sight... and fun to hike.

Front view is my lawn and back is open country for miles plus 43 stupid wind turbines that were added and messed up my sun sets. Zoom in and u can see them. DD571B7A-BB24-4D4C-8F31-2182970CA96C.jpeg 27CCDB2E-6CA1-4BA8-A08D-EC3356A9AAD5.jpeg 7D57A0E5-CE5C-4B35-8213-1E2C4465E612.jpeg

    Changes daily!
Pic 1-3 are looking south out of the front big garage door between July 2020 and June 2021 (pics are in mixed time order).
Pic 4 is what it looks like looking north just outside of the walk in door on the side of the garage, in the spring of 2022.
Pic 5 is what you would see looking north east towards the garage that same day in the spring of 2022.
Pic 6 shows that side yard off the driveway where all those truck parts used to be, on that same day in the spring of 2022.

This is what is out back of where my shop should be if I were to look out the one window that would be above my desk in the corner.

Yeah, the fl250 is horrible on the back! I actually swapped out the blown 2 stroke for a Yanmar electric start diesel engine. It doesn't go super fast (with current gearing it tops out at 28mph) but it will climb damn near anything!

When I moved in with my better half, we realized I would need a place to put my tools, and her little cape
was already tight. Since I was a carpenter I had a lot of tools in addition to my mechanical tools, so building
a garage seemed a no brainer. It took just over a year to get all approvals and permits, then another year
of building it while still working.
The garage is 100 feet behind the house so I only have a view of the back of the house. I built it as large as I
could get approved, 24 by 30, it is tight but still a godsend to work in. I put in stairs to the attic and gave the roof
a 12/12 pitch so there is a lot of 2nd floor storage.
