I have old mono tube shocks. My 1926 model t has a drop axle. The shocks are rusted and all the markings are gone. I found the color blue indicating it’s maybe old Gabriel shock. The total length extended is 16 inches. The compressed is 9.5 inches. And center line to center line on mount is 12 inches mountings is two eyelets. Thanks Jerryt

These are the ones I just bought, but they are hands down the best shock for a hot rod. They make my old Chassis Engineering shocks look pretty pathetic. They are proud of them but they are a nice heavy duty shock. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Bils...Front-Shock-12-13-Inch-Ride-Height,37048.html You can find them a few dollars cheaper on Summit and get free shipping.

maybe those rusty nasty looking old shocks still work good? maybe just clean them up and spray a little paint on them? (i’m guessing it’s not a show car.)
