Features Black & white photo of your hot rod or custom

  1. Converting a color photo to B&W on the computer is cheating. Real B&W photo of my model A roadster taken 1959.

I posted this pic once before. It was found in the seat upholstery of the car I posted in post #122 above. Hamber 'raven' enhanced the quality of the photo.
I don't know if I've just looked at it too many times but the guys in it sure do look familiar. Car came from Genesee county in Michigan. I bought it after it was stored for 53 years. It still had '1894' faint but visible on the passenger door. Anyone recognize this band? Early '60s. ed797c00d04984def47c12fd98b12d0e.jpg

cant help you about the band but the bass player standing on the washtub has the same numbers from the car. I would imagine they were/are a bluegrass band as that instrument was popular with that style of country music bitd. Cool pic though, cheers

Haha. I would love to have it a little lower, but right now it can’t. I had to raise the rear 2.5” because the shaft rubbed easily. Has Aerostar springs and upgraded steering rods on front and after removing the additional 1” lowering blocks it has 1/2” clearance over the rods. Rubbed with the blocks in. If the springs settle in and drop anymore I’ll be in trouble again. Going to put some miles on it the way it is this summer and maybe think about flipping the uprights next winter. Also 165/80 tires on front make it look a little off, but they make steering easier. Life is always fun…

  21. The old fashion film made the pictures that way. These pics came from 2 friends of mine that documented the build of the 33 Ford pickup I now own.

I started to say, that's pretty dang cool. In today's tech savvy world, I just assumed it was a new picture with an app.
