Great photos as usual Tom. I remember those dark storm clouds on Saturday and rain
on Sunday on April 12, 2019. The dark clouds make for a great background.

    FANTASTIC PICTURES TOM,

I wish there was a place to see pictures you have that are NOT deemed HAMB friendly....

tremendous amount of cars in the backgrounds, I wish I could see more of-- and those Texas ladies

I can not express how humbling it is to see my Thunderbird in this thread (post #65). Thank you, Tom!

Unfortunately, it will be 3 years of no LSRU for me. My youngest has a ring ceremony at A&M CC on the 23rd.

You are welcome! Your "Bird has a great look. Thanks for parking it in such an intriguing location in the woods.

I’m disappointed to see so many trailers. Granted the cars are beautiful, but don’t they say the journey is half the adventure?

    Thanks for the great photos!!

I love the color pix, BUT, those black/white look like they could be from any era of rodding, 40's, 50's, etc. Only the folks clothes gives it away. Shadows on b/w truly make a fantastic photo.

True...but if you are old and traveling from afar and have a nice trailer...

That is either before or after the show. That pic is directly in front of the vendor building and on Fri & Sat is packed full of pre-'63 car/truck entries.
Most (but not all) of those trailers are probably loading/unloading merchandise.

Thank you for clearing that up. Easy to jump to conclusion when I’m not actually there.

  19. These are great, Tom! ‘Makes me wonder if I’ll ever get there again. Every year I plan to go and something always comes up at the last minute to keep me at home. I’m looking forward to your take on 2022!

A lot of memories in these pictures…ups, downs, highs, lows, etc. Not going to be there this year, still need a break….but maybe next time.
