Technical Ford Galaxie Emblem

Can anyone tell me what Ford this emblem is for? I thought it might be the one that goes on the quarter panel of a 1964 Galaxie XL 500 but the 4 arms are too large....Thanks for nay help...Mac

 

Does it have any numbers or letters cast in the back of it?

 

The part number cast into the back will tell you what it is.... Should have a C (decade, the '60s), the next character will be the year, the next two the model and application.

It may be for the roof pillar at the rear.

The reproductions are stampings rather than castings...Much lighter....the part number and FORD are on the back, but barely visible.....they look good though....
