Not selling. But, I will be wondering around seeing if I find anything I have to have. Just good to be back after two years canceled because of The Rona.

Good idea! I think I will give away a free Corona (w/ lime) for purchases over 30 dollars. It's like the Summit free shipping offer, I'll bring the 8 track tapes so guys can top off their purchases.

I never have been to the Expo related to the swap meet. I wonder around the track all day , from 8 am to to around 3:30 pm. A few trips back to the truck then I get to battle Portland rush hour. Good times .:D

My friend always brings his big 3 axle 32ft race car trailer down to the vendors area at the racetrack, nothing to sell but it's always cool to have the bicycles and the golf cart, to get around on the race track, because there is so much cool stuff to see and possibly buy.

The trailer is set up with cots and cooking and generator so that there is shelter.

It's nice to use the golf cart to cruise up to the EXPO halls at the upper lot to see all of the stuff up there as well.
You never know what will be for sale there, its always an adventure !

I have spaces 8248, 8247 and 8277 (but that is just my DD parking space.
I don't fancy the school bus ride before and after the meet so I rent two spaces end to end to pull my trailer thru and drop it then drive the truck home every night and back in the morning. I sell out of the trailer and the adjoining lot that my awning covers.

No one said swap meets have to be difficult and uncivilized.

Not selling, just going to buy. I will be wearing a deer park autobody t- shirt with the logo pictured. If you see me wandering around aimlessly, say hi. D2F8FF10-78F3-4AD9-BBB4-C25206A91F72.jpeg

I'll be in the Expo lower lot, spaces 9298-9301. One aisle over and one block up from the red gate, on the corner. Look for a wall of funky signs above a trailer full of Model A sheetmetal.

Stop on by. Heck, some Mopar guy will surely want this:

I don't recall what I bought from you last year, I won't be there so save a beer for me!
Oh yeah, @Bandit Billy owes me one too, cripes, two free beers, that should save me about fifteen bucks.

  27. The trailer is all loaded and ready to for move in Thursday. Cleaned up the set of wheels & tires I have decided to let go as the final thing, didnt realize how much junk we have been hoarding for no reason. I say that, but week after swap meet I will need the thing I sold.

I think CJ and I planning on being there early since our stall is near the front of E Hall.

  28. just a heads up, The vehicle theft problem in the Portland area is extreme and the Delta park area is one of the centers of the homeless population. Just last weekend there were over 25 stolen vehicles within 5 miles of the swap meet with 4 Ford super dutys alone stolen from Home Depot Delta parking lot on Saturday. Im from out of town and will leave my truck in one of my stalls for the weekend. Dont even feel safe parking at the motel

Locking gas (and diesel) caps should also be considered.
