I pulled it apart and correct female spline is there. Can't rotate it with wrist action so will try adding a bar across U joint as not sure how tight these OD are. But will shift to cutting down a '58 Olds steering wheel next. I bought a camera just to document this build. Thank you again.
Depending on how long it had been sitting, the gear oil may have started to turn back into crude oil. Sometimes they need to be drained and refilled.
