   I did a search for a modifying an early bearing retainer to accept a later 37 lip seal but didn't find anything. I don't see why it couldn't be opened up on a lathe to hold the bigger seal? I did read the cork one like mine was discontinued and just bolt on the later bearing retainer was the solution. What do you think?
