I have recently aquired a 60's 4 cylinder 153 cu in engine minus the intake and exhaust. I am looking for intake and exhaust for it. Will 70's Vega stuff fit this? I am also told 3.0 Mercruiser?

Vega stuff probably not.... totally different motor. Mercruiser stuff, more than likely.

There are after market manifolds available for the little 153. You're correct about the Mercruiser application, even OMC used the little banger. Mercruiser also offered the 140 hp version which had a bigger crank and a true 8 port head rather than the Siamesed ports on the 153. You can't run the marine manifolds as they're one unit and are also meant to run water through the exhaust.
I believe Clifford still offers intakes and headers or at least header plates. Cool little engines.
