Absolutely the coolest fucking thing I've seen this year. Brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye.
That would totally be me. Love it! When you live a mile+ off the highway on gravel you get over your ill perceived hangups about driving your toys. Like the wealthy customer I worked with a couple times, he needed to take the beater pickup fishing so he sent his right hand man to the hardware store in the Bentley to pick up copper pipe and plumbing supplies.
Looks like 'drifting' got an earlier start than we all thought. Cool in SOOOOOO..... many different ways.
Jay, I am amazed at the great videos you discover. But mainly, the Type 35 Bugatti is my all-time favorite classic, sports car, race car. Louvers, open-wheel, louvers, belly pan, blower, mag wheels, roadster, more louvers. If I ever had any money, I'd have one. But that's why I have hot rods instead. The only problem is that I don't think I could get in one and drive it. Oh well. Thanks for all your posts. PG
"It takes leather ball's to play rugby " And it takes a true hot rod kid at heart, to take that Bugatti type 35, out in the snow and really have some fun with it, with out getting worried about what might happen to the car ! Bravo on a great video ! There is no use having cool vintage toys, if you cant take them out and really play with them and enjoy them!
When I was a kid, my Pops drove a '61 Alfa Romeo Giulietta year 'round. Dual side-drafts, primer red and no top. He drove it during the Blizzard of '77...
It just proves that you need more than one car. One to polish and one to sacrifice, but I’m no polisher.
