    Just found out that GNRS is going to have free on site covid testing.

    "The Grand National Roadster Show will have free onsite COVID-19 tests for all 3 days of the show. If you have proof of vaccination, you will not need to be tested. We will also be accepting at home negative tests and negative PCR tests within 72 hours of the show."

    The 72nd annual Grand National Roadster show returns
    and is scheduled for January 28-30, 2022, at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, organizers have announced.

    Description:

    The Grand National Roadster Show is now in its 72nd year. Once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, it is the longest running indoor car show in the world! Produced at the Fairplex in Pomona for the 17th consecutive year.

    Over 500 show vehicles will compete for awards inside the Fairplex buildings. Another 400-800 vehicles will join the event Saturday & Sunday for the 15th Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In.

    Friday: noon - 8 p.m.
    Saturday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    Sunday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

    Parking at prevailing rates.

    as far as I have seen - ONLY PARKING IS IN BIG LOT AT GATE 17 - on W McKinley at Fairplex Dr ------------- plan to wait in a longer line than in past -----buy tickets before going in at rodshows.com : $27.23 (includes service charge to print ticket at home) -- buy at O'Reilly Auto parts in general area near Pomona for $3 (?) discount entry ticket

    just talked to someone at the N.H.R.A. Museum (at Fairplex) - you will be able to enter Museum through the side door from inside the Show for only $5 - the front doors will be locked

    PCR test, not at-home. PCR should have emailed results.

    I was at the show with a couple of buddies and one was not vaxed and got a free covid test. The line for the tests was short. They gave him a sheet with the negative test results.THe test took about 10 minutes. He got inline with all the people that had their proof of covid vaccination and test results. Once inline had you showed your proof and your ID, once it was verified they gave you a blue wrist band then you can precede to buy your ticket. It wasn't too bad.

    So the HAMB is now a place for discussing COVID testing? What has that got to do with traditional Hot Rods and Customs?

    What's not to understand? If you wanted to attend the GNRS, you had to be tested... and this thread was spreading that information.

    I realize people are sick of COVID, but... If you weren't attending, why not ignore the thread rather than bumping it back to the top a week after the event?
