Gonna sell these parts for a friend but we have no idea what make-model-year they're for. Please take a look and let us know. We'd like to get them to someone who can use them. Thanks in advance -
The wide one is 1950 GMC truck. I was guessing the narrow one was 1939-ish Chevy truck, but I can't find an image that matches.
Whew I thought this would need investigating ID BODY PARTS Thought this may be a post from Hannibal Lecter writing from Italy.
I am thinking ‘54 or 1st design ‘55 GMC. ‘48 through ‘53 GMC use grille surround that goes from bottom of fender opening …up and over….and down the other side…..all one piece. The ‘54/early ‘55 has side extensions that house the park/signal lights and the sides are shorter like the pictured part. I think the narrow part fits below front of the hood …..could be passenger or pickup ….’41 car….maybe ‘41 to ‘47 pickup….or not Ray
Ok, still need to ID the smaller part in the first 6 photos. Hamb member Alchemy guessed 39 Chevy truck and that's not it. Anyone agree with Hnstray in the above post - 41 car or 41-47 pickup ? Thanks for the help !
all you need is someone with a chevrolet parts book that is old enough, mine does not go back that far. 1.287 is the part type and the rest is the chevrolet part number
Can't tell what the 5th digit is for sure, but according to the March 1954 Chevrolet parts and accessories catalog, 3658299 is "Panel Reinforcement, radiator grille filler (between grille and bumper)" 41 PASS For you guys who are unaware, most of the old GM parts catalogs have been digitized and made into a searchable database and you are free to use it here http://gmpartswiki.com/query This is a massively useful tool.
