    funny, now that my car is getting more done to it, i caught myself daydreaming of a particular 48 ford chop top that is in hiding here in my town. the owner has more money than he knows what to do with and has this car sitting in a lot.......paint cracking, and rusting......this post is making me think.

    Leaving the drip rails always make a chopped top look so much better.

    A good resource to have is Tex Smith's "How to Chop Tops", several 41-48 Fords pictured, also, if you're doing a Business Coupe check out July 2004 Street Rod Builder. Frankly, it is a very difficult top to chop properly.
