Your absolutely right Keith. Even when I was a teenager I can remember all the hand me down muscle cars that graced the high school parking lots of my city. They weren't seen as anything other than a way of transportation back then. Taking into account what job wages were then they seemed more in reach of the working man then than now. But then again they weren't considered collectible then as now. A good friend of mine since I was a teenager passed away between the holidays from a stroke. He wasn't into cars and was same age as me. While attending his funeral there was a slide show of his life playing and a picture of him standing next to my Rambler when he was teenager came on the screen. It really brought home how much our cars not only affect our lives but others as well.
