Getting close to spring... almost time to wake up the hibernating Canuck sizzle boys!! Who's workin on what over the winter?? My coupe is sleeping peacefully and has been completely ignored as my 56 build is in full swing with it's four door conversion and collecting of parts for the rest of the build!! Let's see some Canadian bacon boys, lord knows the world needs something good to look at right now!!!
My project is a 33 chev 3 window . 37 caddy my father is from springton pei Near Hunter River . Car buried in snow is 33 34 chev !!! Here is my T from a few years ago
Didn’t get as much done over winter as I had hoped but just a few odds and ends to wrap up now to be ready for spring driving. Basically did some engine compartment cleanup, gauge repair, and some general maintenance like cooling system, hoses, battery cables, etc. Getting excited for spring.
...This is a pic from 2 days ago...I can't recall what Wiarton saw but I'm poking fun at him none the less... Stay warm Hoodlums...
I replaced the original seat tracks with new ones that actually move and I rebuild and installed my new tripower set up. It starts and idles, now waiting till spring to see how it goes. Phil
I don't know exactly where this "Canada" is exactly on the map but I like your cars, eh? After this weeks news I am thankful you are good next door neighbors. Meet me at the fence, I'll bring the good stuff!
Had 3 of them at one point , got it down to 2 ,both were in the shop , finally forced to work on them and get it down to 1 . Nice to have a little more space in the shop .Just gong to do enough work on it for now to get it solid on it's new sub frame .Work on the pick up and hopefully get it on the road sometime this summer !!!
Thought that was my brother for a minute there, as the shoes looked familiar, but I didn't see Old Vienna in the stack.
Here's my 1949 F-47 the day I bought her back in July 2020. I started working on it the winter of 2020 and still have miles to go before she's roadworthy. It's been a fun journey. Cheers
Everything just loosely bolted on for a visual last Fall while doing the glass. Just wanted to see if she spoke to me.
For those of you who have Instagram. Woke up the ol girl from her winters nap today! Just because. AND my daughter got me this little gem today for my birthday. Guess I know what I'm watching this weekend. https://www.instagram.com/p/CbQrFzNDL6s/
Where's more Canadian bacon winter updates?? Completed the passenger side 2 door conversion and some finish welding left then off to the body shop to get put on a rotisserie. Media blast and hopefully we don't find any hidden surprises. Roadster shop frame is supposed to be complete and arrive mid summer. Be interesting to see how far along things will come through the summer months. Gotta make sure the coupe gets lots of attention. Post up some winter work boys!
