There’s some minor differences but pretty much 35-41 pu and 35-40 car. The car frames will have mounts riveted to the outer perimeter. I’ve also heard there might be different radiator mounts and maybe front cross member? But all easily overcome.

35 to 40 cars and 35 thru 41 trucks have the same or similar frames. I see I typed too slowly again. Nice call Budget

35-40, plus 41 pickups are pretty much the same, with minor difference in the earlier years.

41 pickup has a modified front crossmember to accommodate the new for 41 flathead six cylinder engine.

Good luck finding one without rust where the x member meets the outer rails near the rear wheels.

I appreciate the info but it looks like i might be stuck in the house for a few days.
As for the rust issue on frame i have been told this is where exhaust pipe always sprang a leak .

They always rust at the front of the rear wheel, where the X meets the main rail. That's where water and dirt were trapped. And 40's always rusted on the right side in front of the firewall as that's where the battery was.
