First picture is captioned Porky Zartman in what looks to be a ‘32 Chevy coupe. Pork went on to drive Charlie Hills “Filthy Forty” seen in the second picture.

  4. Pork drove the Bad News coupe which became the Mr. Clean drag coupe owned and restored by Bruce Larson. Bruce raced this car back in the day as well , and still runs her. Bruce-Larson-open-house-2015-history28.JPG bruce larsen 1993 crop.jpg

Pretty sure the fella that ran this car is a HAMB guy who posts once and awhile. Maybe he'll chime in? I think his avatar is different photo of the car also at Lions.

It dawned on me after looking at all these great pictures why I/WE have such a great fondness for the cars in that time frame. The cars were put together in every ones garages and the one with the most ingenuity and a few extra bucks could be the king. Speaking of the KING Big Daddy built his swamp rats in his garage. Pure AWESOMNESS!

You don't just call your local speed shop for a fiberglass frontend for one of those.
