HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL I want to give a public thanks to Charlie Schwendler for the superb job he did on two old Mallory distributors I needed re-re-worked. He was a gentleman and easy to get a hold of and would answer questions. The price was reasonable and the turn around time was exceptional. You know how it is when you have your hopes up on someone doing the right job on our old stuff and either they drop off the planet or you are just plain disappointed with the work. NOT TO WORRY. Mr. Schwendler is you man and you can rest easy when its in his hand to do the job right. This all sounds hammy but I have been as many of us have disappointed with work that we spent good money and time on. Excited to finally get it back only to be let down. So, when someone is exceptional, it should be known. At least this is all my humble opinion. If need i can provide his number but he is pretty well known on the net. Stay Frosty!
He's done several fuel pumps as well as a distributor and two carbs for me.Everything about the man and his work is exceptional. Ken

I have known Charlie, and his wife Alice for several years, they are good people. Not only is Charlie's work top notch, he is a gentleman, and a man of his word.
Im chiming in for Charlie also. I needed 9 oversized throttle plate shafts for some holly 2110 worn out bases. Someone told me about him, easy guy to deal with, cant believe he made these shafts for me, and honed the bases to fit, hot damn Im in business .. A public thanks to you Charlie, sorry it took me this long to post something for you .. Cheers all .
I didn't know Charlie was doing the old Mallorys. He has done two of my carbs and they turned out fantastic.
I like old "Flattop" Mallory distributors. However, the original flathead units are difficult to find and expensive when you do, SBC Mallory's are easier to find and a lot cheaper. I have had Charlie convert a couple for me, and the work was top notch. He can do a lot more that just straight rebuilds.
