Folks Of Interest Moving to South Carolina (again)

I have moved about 8 times since I joined the H.A.M.B. back in 2000, so much so that someone here asked who was chasing me.
Well I’m ending up this time in the Myrtle Beach area this time around the first week of February, I was in Rock Hill last time. It’s up in the air as to when or if the Galaxie will be brought along. I’m going solo for a while and I will need to hook up with the coastal car scene.
What HAMBers are in the area?

There is a pretty decent handful of guys in Myrtle. Once you meet one, they will introduce you to all the rest of the cool kids. I'm still in Charleston, but I get up there every once and a while.

great car scene here look up hotrod promotions, lots of cruise in and small shows then their is Run to the Sun in March. Some cool guys wearing Assorted nuts shirts moving around.

There are a lot of nice Hot Rod folks in the Myrtle Beach area and South Carolina in general. You will fit right in. You could even take a ride to the Upstate for a visit with Danny and Brenda. Be sure to patronize Brenda's flower shop while there.

I'm constantly perusing the real estate market there and if I were to move South, it would be South Carolina for me. It's just tough when all of your friends, family, doctors, dentist, business relations, etc. are here in Maryland.....Maybe someday.

Oh....wait a minute!!!!

Yeah we be in Myrtle Beach area. There are TWO car clubs/groups in town and naturally they feud all the time. One has a car show here and the other has a car show there....sometimes on the same day and time!!
Stupid...
But its all good. (usually a good turn out both places....
There was a cruise yesterday along Ocean Blvd. Myrtle Beach.......over a hundred cars showed up! So many we all got separated from each other and mixed in with regular traffic.
We really needed the "Poe-lease" to close off the road for the event.(Doubt that would happen!)
Police around here are really pretty cool about noisy cars(and bikes!)
HUGE car show in March ....1000's enter and 1000's drive their rides.
Cruise in on most Friday nights at a burger joint!
Year round good cruise in weather.
(Lotsa 'yankeez' moving in and bringing their hot rodz and muscle carz)
Still stupid traffic during tourist season & beyond!
Might "ass well" jump in with the rest of us.......the waterz fine!!
