Thanks Dago, I've got good help! This is a new venture for me. I've built tube chassis cars, back-half/ pro-street cars. A few stock style cars and trucks. Never a old school build. Learning alot of what they had back in the day. After all I was just a kid when these cars was racing.
Anthony that website is a deep rabbit hole. About 20 cars down on that page is a green 1955 Thunderbird. That guy's name is Fred and he comes to our nostalgia drags sometimes. Car still looks the same.
I understand wanting to paint it, in case you don’t, lots of us will like it anyway. Keep up the good work, it looks great.
Thanks, we've been working on this car for a year now. 1 day a week is all the 3 of us can meet up. Usually on a Saturday. Then it's only for 3-5 hours. I'm happy with the progress that's been made. There will definitely be more to come!!
Making a lot of progress! Having a small crew makes a world of difference. Wish I had a little help w/ my bad back Joe
Patina would be super sick, but SEGA is all about keeping the cars the same. These guys have more into their paintjobs, than I do total into my whole coupe, and my fiances tudor!
With the SEGA, you'll see cars with top end paint jobs all the way down to just pulled it out of the woods! All of them impressive in their own way!
