I talked to him he said if he did have anything he threw it away or gave it away years ago. The Seip family sold the dealership in 84 or 85 and it closed up I believe a few years later.
Good luck! I have been searching for memorabilia from the dealership I worked at for about 20 years. No dice so far.
I could handle having that '61. I dig the color. It doesn't need mags, chromies, or even rally wheels. I like Elcohaulic's thought of a wider wheel, just nothing extreme, in black or body color.
Kind of nice when you only have to drive 45 miles to look at an intake. Thanks Rick & Jan. It has one prior weld repair back by the #8 port (not visible in pic) that may need a little touch up. Might prevent it from being used on a really correct restoration but I can work with it. The 3794129 appears to be 62 and 63 AFB. The later version 3844461 I think is 63 and up Holley Square bore. Does anybody know why GM had one side 3,5,2,8 oval and 1,7,4,6 two round ports? I thought I read some where to prevent a lean condition on 5 and 8? Interested in the theory behind this. I've also seen some versions milled with two oval (plenum divider) or completely milled open with no plenum divider. Any any performance advantage to be had? and theory behind this as well.
For any PN geeks I did find on a Corvette Forum three variants of this intake. What I have is like the top pic but has been violated from original by drilling and tapping the boss.
That's an unknown too. The whole exhaust is a nice mandrel bent kit. I'll see if I can find any clues / PN' or markings I'm thinking it might be someone like Shafer Reproductions, but they have multiple muffler selections (stock, turbo, chambered etc.)
