Started the wiring on the hearse and this was mounted up under the dash. Of all the wires hanging off this thing only one was hooked up. Couldn't really see what it was hooked up to though. Anyone know?
    Thanks,
    Mike

You sure it's not an ambulance? That looks like the control for a siren and light. Or maybe it was a city owned hearse, like for a coroner or something.

Looks like some home made explosives detonator from a Hezbollah terrorist. Cut the green wire first man!

open it up! let's see what's inside....

(without knowing what it was connected to, we'll probably never be able to figure out just what it was used for)

Oh that, thats the Thorkle Rod analyzer and calibration box. Is it 6 or 12 volts? The 6 Volts design bring big money.

Ahh the HAMB, where else can you get the smartest people from around the world to give you the answer your looking for. At first I thought this was just a piece of junk, but after reading what yall had to say, I better hold on to it for a few more years to see what the market brings.
    Thanks guys,

I believe that to be a '61 or '62 Automatic Dingleberry Removal remote mount control, the company went ass up after they realized that using toilet paper while in a restroom was much more effecient at dingleberry removal than a mechanized contraption with cold steel fingers that mounted to your vehicle seats...it was somewhat a liability while on the interstate and having it malfunction due to abnormally large dingleberries putting undue stress on the extraction unit...

They are being sarcastic but like was said earlier without seeing inside it could be anything. To me it looks like a projectbox someoone put a couple of switches on and a light, something "homebuilt".

  17. They were outlawed in Europe ages ago. You flick the switch to get the horse to speed up , simple as that.

    I know what this is...
    This is an espresso machine.
No, no wait. It's a snow cone maker.
    Is it a water heater?

Any identifying marks or company names? Maybe a model number? That looks like a plastic casing, which would have been molded.... I give up.

It's exactly what it looks like.... A box with a button, toggle switch, and light mounted in it. Nothing more, nothing less. Probably rigged it for driving lights, work lights (pick up lotsa stiffs at night you know...), any number of things, maybe even an aoogah horn if you look hard enough.:D :D
