Technical Splitting model A wishbone

    So i've cut the wishbone,have the Speedway weld in bunk kit.My question is which side does the rt thread go and the left thread?

    Makes it easy to remember if you put the left on the left and the right on the right.

  3. Just a tip. Dont run the tie rod end in to the threads dry.I did once,and it gauled,and seized up. A little anti seize will prevent this.

    I never understood using left hand threads on any split wishbone? Why? Right hand threads would be just fine for both sides.

    No need to have left and right bungs, but I guess it doesn’t matter. Model A wishbones are short, that’s why most split later bones. I think 39 inches on a stock A wishbone ball to perch, and 47 1/2 inches on a 32 wishbone.

    Thank for the replys.I didn't know and thats how the kit comes.
